從 2022 年春季開始，COMME des GARCONS 選擇將其 Tricot 系列重新命名為 Tao，設計師栗原大（Tao Kurihara）仍繼續擔任掌舵人。
Tricot 系列的歷史可以追溯到1981年，品牌名稱的改變是為了讓第三代設計師栗原大「完全接管」。在此之前，Tricot 系列的設計主導者只是川久保玲和渡邊淳彌。儘管品牌更名為Tao，但保留了原來的設計團隊，品牌整體運作保持不變。
